First of all, we'd like to apologize to all the people who ordered stuff from us these last few days.
The whole label staff is on a trip to the United States of America right now, and nobody was left behind to take care of the mail-order.
All orders placed after May 24th will therefore ship on June 14th.
We're terribly sorry for not posting an announcement about this earlier.
There's simply no excuse for such an unprofessional behavior.

In other news...
We have a few copies of Hatewave's Sexual Healing 2 CD in stock!
This release features the original Hatewave, which consisted of Sasha Tai, Nondor Nevai and Wiggpaw, and had more to do with no wave and hardcore than the later death /black/prog metal incarnation of the band.
This CD is basically a reissue of the band's original 4-track demo, (from 1994) and an essential document of the Chicago No Wave scene of the 90s.
Next on the Savage Land schedule is the To Live and Shave in L.A. / Kevin Drumm CD, (no date yet) and maybe a plastic version of Ettrick's Feeders of Ravens LP, to coincide with a possible euro tour.
That's a "maybe" and a "possible" in the same sentence.
Also, Monsieur Nevai was kind (or oblivious) enough to give us unlimited access to his masters vault during our stay at his New York residence.
Not sure what will come out of this, but there is some stuff here that definitely needs to be heard.
The possibility of a _ euro tour has also been discussed.

Nondor Nevai's «DMT ROK» CD and 16-17's long-awaited 'Gyatso' CD reissue are available for mail order.

If you're scared of overseas shipping, (which btw has been working just fine since 1992) here's your chance to finally purchase these wonderful albums from a place closer to home.For those of you who are unfamiliar with the absolute masterpiece that is 16-17's 'Gyatso', here's some basic info:
Produced by Kevin Martin (God, Ice, Techno Animal) and featuring G.C. Green of Godflesh on bass, ‘Gyatso' is best described as an experimental studio deconstruction work based on live recordings by the original line-up of the band. (Alex Buess, Markus Kneubühler, Knut Remond)
Originally released on Martin's Pathological imprint, the album sold reasonably well, quickly going out of print for the last 10 years.
Today, it still stands as 16-17's most ambitious album and a landmark in extreme rock/jazz/electronics.This reissue features new artwork and very detailed liner notes by long-time fan Jason Pettigrew. (Alternative Press)
The music was also remastered for maximum efficiency by Weasel Walter. (The Flying Luttenbachers)
This release will certainly appeal to fans of John Zorn's Painkiller, Naked City, Borbetomagus, etc...
and probably even help shed a new light on some of these bands' music.

«DMT ROK» is the debut studio album by _ (yes, it's the name of the band, and it's pronounced "undrskor")
_ is a jazz/black metal/classical trio comprised of Nondor Nevai on vocals and drums, Rat Bastard (of To Live and Shave in L.A.) on violin, and Dan Hosker (of Harry Pussy) on cello.
They have been around since 2005, and have already "released" two very confidential demos (including the colossal "Sonata for _") on their own.
«DMT ROK» is their most professional production so far.
It was recorded last february at the Laundry Room in Miami, and includes 6 brand new tracks and a new rendition of an old composition.
The music is hard to describe. Let's just say that, like all great music, it's unlike anything you've ever heard.
No "band x meets band y" crap here. The accepted term is "Klassikill".
Oh, and don't be fooled by the trio thing. This is unmistakably a Nondor Nevai album, except he's extremely well-accompanied, and it showcases a never-before documented side of the man. (= the Miami Beach seaside)
Those of you who hate taking risks can listen to a mp3 from the album here before making any hasty decision.

It's been a while since the last update. We hope you like the new website.
It has less information, less pictures, and less audio files than the old one.
Basically, it now only serves as a news desk and a portal to our webstore.
Let's face it, who needs a "real" website when you can have this?

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to schedule a "real" release date yet.
This said, advance copies will be available for a limited time, starting Monday, November 19th, directly from our webstore.
Real fanatics shouldn't have to suffer because of the current sad state of the music business.

FInally, a real deadline:

For the uninitiated,
TLASILA 2 was a "Free Glam" unit formed from the ashes of TLASILA 's 1999 touring line-up by band members Weasel Walter, Rat Bastard, Nondor Nevai, and Misty Martinez.
Some more detailed but out-of-date information can be found here .The CD is entitled The 300 Dollar Silk Shirt, and is basically the band's complete studio recordings. It includes the original 'unauthorized' Kill Misty album ( w/ Tom Smith on vocals) and the previously unreleased 2nd album >>> 78 minutes total.

It's 70+ minutes long, and has been described by Tom Smith as "an extreme dub reconfiguration of TLASILA 's Interview With the Mitchell Brothers album".
The very talented Gregory Jacobsen is currently working on the artwork.
A very special Weasel Walter solo CD will also be released around the same time.
It's entitled Early Recordings 1988-1991 , and, as the title implies, it is comprised of 4-track recordings from Weasel's teenage years.
We don't want to reveal too much about the music right now, but this will definitely be a big surprise for those who think WW was only a free jazz musician in his early days.
Both CD's should be available for pre-orders before the end of February.
